Fusemail.com — grrrr!

GRRR.!! I say the industry of web hosting is changing and we all need to move mail to mail places and web to web places. Blacklists, spam, zombie farms, all that stuff, it’s becoming a full time job for small business hosting companies, and we just shouldn’t do it. Email is just too important for our clients, you can’t afford  single hour of downtime anymore, much less three days on the black list because some client reset a password... [Read More...]

Leonardo da Vinci’s Resume

I straight up swiped this entire page from http://www.adifferentplace.org/newpage5.htm and dropped it into my website. It’s fantastic. If I were a king, I’d hire him in a second. Talk about knowing your audience… In 1481, Leonardo wrote a fascinating letter to Ludovico Sforza, later to become Duke of Milan. This letter, aimed at obtaining work at Sforza’s court. It was the guy who could churn out the great campaigns and make millions of dollars for a client. He was a slickster for sure, he could go out for golf and come back with a a signed contract for a million bucks. Well, not much has changed since then, at least in the USA. We still operate that same way. But, something... [Read More...]

Board Jockeys

Not too long ago, like everybody else, I was out of a job. It didn’t take me long to find something, but during that time of looking, I posted my resume just about everywhere. It was a good resume, it showed a bunch of senior exec leadership, and a history of close to two decades worth of technology industry experience. Because of that last search and those last posted resumes, I am now bombarded with a daily list of at least half a dozen offers... [Read More...]

Here comes the Fozlock!

My manufacturing operation is coming together. The first prototypes are due in a few weeks and I have a world class designer working on the front end of the website. Stay tuned to http://www.fozlock.com.  I can’t wait to see what he come up with. FYI, this invention received a full patent, and won the Best In Show award at the biggest inventor’s convention in the USA, Inventbay.  Read More →
